I've been taking it for 2 days (40mg once a day) and haven't felt a difference.

Give it time to work.
Most ulcers heal within 4 weeks, although some people may need up to 4 more weeks of treatment to complete healing. In rare cases, large ulcers need even longer treatment.
See your doctor again after 4 weeks if you are still noticing no signs of improvement.
