Cyclogyl (cyclopentolate) for Uveitis "I didn't have good experience with Cyclogyl, it gives me so much pain around the eye and gives me a migraine headache. I would recommend that ophthalmologist can give atropine instead if you have uveitis. But it all depends on the eye specialist."

For Pupillary Dilation "Dilation lasting 48 hours+. Anxiety, palpitations, severe migraine, un coordination, no depth perception. I cannot drive safely, especially in the dark. No warning about the long duration of dilation. I suspect unreported interactions with attention medications and anti-anxiety medications, as it crosses the blood brain barrier and affects multiple receptors. I feel poorly informed and that it was negligently used on me after I specifically stated concerns with all dilation drugs."

Cyclogyl (cyclopentolate) for Uveitis "This drug would have gotten a lower score from me if it had not done the job so well of dilating the eye and thus stopping the severe pain I was experiencing from spasms of the iris. However, I almost gave it a 1 because of the severe side effects I experienced: anxiety, panic, feelings of dread, severe disorientation, uncoordination, confusion, tremors. I experienced these symptoms after only my third scheduled dose and have been taken off the drug by by opthamologist."
