Balversa (erdafitinib) "My wife has advanced breast cancer that has spread to multiple parts of her body. The doctor initially gave her a few days to one week to live. We decided to switch to a different doctor who suggested Balversa as the last resort after seeing her genetic mapping with FGFR gene abnormality. Balversa is a targeted therapy with no known cases of similar situations worldwide. Since taking Balversa, her condition has improved, and her health has gone from untreated to a stable and improving state. Unfortunately, the cost of the medication is incredibly high, and we are financially drained. I am hopeful that the company will consider our case a successful one and provide support for the medication. Balversa has caused some side effects in my wife, including nail and skin issues. However, as a life-saving medication, these issues are being tolerated and not considered significant. The medication is straightforward to use, with 8mg taken orally daily."
