What drugs are contained in the HIV treatment Delstrigo?
Delstrigo is a three-drug combination of doravirine, lamivudine, and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate. It is used for the treatment of HIV-1 infection.
The three drugs contained in Delstrigo are:
- doravirine (Pifeltro) - a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI)
- lamivudine (Epivir) - a nucleoside analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI)
- tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (Viread) - a nucleoside analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI)
Delstrigo is indicated as a complete regimen a complete regimen for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and pediatric patients weighing at least 35 kg:
- with no antiretroviral treatment history, OR
- to replace the current antiretroviral regimen in those who are virologically suppressed (HIV-1 RNA less than 50 copies per mL) on a stable antiretroviral regimen with no history of treatment failure and no known substitutions associated with resistance to the individual components.
The recommended dosage of Delstrigo is one tablet taken orally once daily, with or without food in adults and pediatric patients weighing at least 35 kg.
Each tablet contains 100 mg of doravirine, 300 mg of lamivudine, and 300 mg of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate.

Which medicines should not be taken with Biktarvy?
- Biktarvy is a complete regimen and use with other antiretroviral medications for the treatment of HIV-1 infection is not recommended.
- Biktarvy is associated with many drug interactions as it contains three different medicines, increasing your risk for interactions. Have your health care provider check for possible interactions with other prescription medicines, OTCs or herbal you take.
- You should not take Biktarvy with dofetilide (Tikosyn), a drug used for heart rhythm disorders or rifampin (Rifadin), a medicine for tuberculosis (TB). These drugs are contraindicated with the use of Biktarvy.
