Oracit (citric acid/sodium citrate) for Urinary Alkalinization "Had to switch from Bicitra to Oracit, as Bicitra became unavailable. Both work extremely well, beginning right after diagnosis of Renal Tubular Acidosis in 2006. I have no side effects, and have never had another symptom (intolerance to cold, extreme weight loss). Both Bicitra and Oracit taste terrible! I solved the problem by mixing a "cocktail" with 1 oz of Bicitra or Oracit with two ounces of good-tasting berry antioxidant supplement, a scoop of Citrucel (to keep lower tract working well), and fill the rest of a 16 oz covered measure with PowerAde "zero" (sugarless). Shake well with some ice cubes to help mix, and drink before breakfast next day. It works perfectly."

For Urinary Tract Stones "Insurance used to cover it for 10.00 month but no longer will cost $60.00 a moth now to get it with discount card. This worked really well but because not FDA approved it is no longer pay for. I tried something else but would not work. How can we get this FDA approved??"
